Rough sketches turned into functional scribbly furniture

This couch by Fukawa Daigo looks more like a drawing than an actual piece of furniture, but it can actually hold a person’s weight. It’s part of a series of furniture made to look like scribbles in a notebook.

Fukawa created this series, titled “rough sketch products,” for his 2013 senior thesis exhibition at Tokyo University of the Arts. Via Rough sketches turned into functional scribbly furniture.
