The World’s Tallest Climbing Wall

The Excalibur at the Klimcentrum Bjoeks (Bjoeks Climb Center) in the town of Groningen, in The Netherlands is considered to be the tallest climbing wall in the world. The wall is over 121 feet (37 meters) heigh. But, what makes climbing the Excalibur such a challenge, apart from the height, is a sleek curve 36 feet (11 meters) out from the base giving an artificial overhang similar to climbing a real peak. The curve makes it is possible to climb the tower in lots of different ways, each giving a different challenge.
