We are all very excited here at Deskarati this weekend. Why? Well it’s the first Formula 1 Grand Prix of the 2012 season and this year is looking to be at lot closer than recent years. So to celebrate we are posting this 3 dimensional model of a racing car the size of a grain of sand. Researchers Jan Torgersen and Peter Gruber at Vienna University of Technology successfully printed intricately detailed models of various objects at the nanometer scale using a process called “two-photon lithography”.
So thanks to Jan and Peter as we look forward to a great new F1 season – Deskarati
