A Bike Rack That Combs Up the City’s Bicycles

Don’t you just love functional pieces of public art?

Made at the co-op Knowhow Shop in LA and erected in Roanoke, Virginia, the bike rack is “handcrafted out of Mangaris using full mortise and tenon construction, while the hair is made from powder coated steel.” I didn’t even notice that the black bars were meant to represent hair, so I wonder what the bikes are?
